The Mana Cruising Club provides a 30-tonne (70,000 lbs) travel lift and cradles . An anti-foul area with water blaster and sump are also provided to ensure the ecologically sound disposal of residue. Club members receive priority and discounted rates.
There are a variety of services available that utilise the travel lift, from haul out's for a quick scrub, lift and hold to allow anodes to be checked or transducers to be cleaned, through to lifting out to a cradle. Both the travel lift and cradles are well utilised throughout the year especially in the months leading up to the Christmas cruising season.

This is our preferred way to make a booking. If you have difficulty with computer processes or access to the internet, ask someone else to help but be present as you are required to read and acknowledge your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Please contact the Club office for further support.
When you have successfully submitted your booking, you will receive an acknowledgement email. Our yard manager also receives an email. The manager will consider other bookings and cradle availability then contact you to confirm. Priority will be given to club members.
Please note for all bookings you will need to include the following;
Vessels needing to be sand blasted or similar will need to be positioned in accessible cradles and suitably wrapped for the process. Vessel owner and and contractors will need to provide plans of how they will contain waste and ensure they meet environmental regulations. These activities will require a "Permit to Work" to be signed off by Rear Commodore (Yard) and Yard Manager to ensure compliance.
Vessels need hotwork/welding/use of gas axe will also require a "Permit to Work" signed off by the Rear Commodore (Yard) or Yard manager.
All members engaging others to work on vessels will need to provide copies of the contactors H&S plan, 3rd party Insurance and public liability to the office prior to starting work.
Contractors must sign in at the office daily as a H&S requirement
Yard work hours 07.30 am to dusk.
Invoices will be sent monthly or on return to the water/loading to transport as appropriate.
The club reserves the right to request pre-payment for some services at the discretion of the finance sub committee.
Any invoices for yard services that remain unpaid 3 months after due date will incur interest at 5% per month until settled. Invoices outstanding after 4 months will be referred to the Finance sub-committee for action that may include suspending membership rights as per club rules.
When a Travel Lift booking is confirmed, you will be sent an email confirming the date/time etc of your booking. To change a booking click the button below to email the yard manager.
