The Club currently sponsors or supports the following community organisations
Coastguard - The club supports the Coastguard through provision of space for their depot and mooring the coastguard vessels.
DOC Rat Trapping on Pickersgill Island
Guardians of the Pauatahunui Inlet - The club provides a donation towards prizes in their annual photographic competition.
Blue September. The club holds a fundraising night in September each year raising funds for the national Blue September prostrate awareness initiative. These events involve guest speakers (past speakers have included Josh Kronfield and Ian Kirkpatrick), auctions of donated items and other fundraising activities.
